Who is our best heavyweight prospect?

Tyson Fury is the one that excites me the most.

I also like the way that his career is developing: fighting frequently, gradually stepping up & getting fitter at the same time.

i like the way fury is developing, he is actually doing his gymwork in the ring and in front of a live tv audience, that shows a lot of confidence, faith and commitment by both fury and his management/promotional team. the improvement in his physique is there too see, and he is starting to experiment whilst also getting results.

i still think he beats john macdermott right now.

we got some decent guys coming through. But I've gone for Tyson Fury because I've seen all of his fights and he can box a bit and hit with power.

Respect has to go to Larry because he posts on here and I also like Chisora

Tyson Fury doesn't look like he has much power to me. If he can stop with the arm punches maybe he would have good power. He'll definitely have to cut out the uppercuts to his own face then though. Fury has the size and good punch variety. He's decent, but doesn't look at all special, imo.

Larry Olubamiwo looks like he has really good power. I like what I've seen so far. I'm looking forward to seeing him relax more in the future, which is the most important thing for me.

Chisora has the potential to be Danny Williams part II. D

How can anyone make a case for Fury being rated above Commonwealth Gold, and Olympic bronze medalist Price??
Adding to this Price beat him easy in the ABA's.
While Fury has made a promising start he has shown a good few chinks, conditioning, punch power and has been carried through by his huge size advantages.
His performance v Price has only been accompanied with lies and excuses.
I still believe Price has the perfect style for the amateurs and this will hinder him in the pro's but at this point he is a mile ahead of Fury

Tyson Fury - I like him, both as a fighter and a person. Impossible to tell how far he will go.
Derek Chisora - Looks like Samuel Peter to me; can hit, but is very lazy and doesn't do enough.
Larry Olubamiwo - Sorry Larry, you're a top guy but I think you're carrying too much weight in them arms.
Sam Sexton - The best so far for me, even though he got took out by Chisora. Looks like his has learned a lot from his defeat. I have high hopes.
Chris Burton - Only seen him really in PrizeFighter, but I can see him only as a do domestic heavyweight.
David Price - Only seen him in the Olympics.

All in all, I went for Sexton. But Fury isn't far behind. He needs properly testing first.

At the moment I say Tyson Fury because of the level of opponent.

Chisora and Warmachine tie at this point due to Chisora looking and fighting like a lazy git at times despite having fought the better opponents of the 2.

Who do I think in 12-18 Months?

I just do not think Tyson Fury has the strength or conditioning to last and he did not have the power.

Is Sexton a prospect?

Price all day long.

No one on the list comes close to his credentials.

Price and Fury may go pretty far, but the rest won't go above Domestic Level.
Look forward to seeing them all start fighting each other in the next 18 months.

I'm shocked that so many have voted for Fury, he's miles ahead of rest.

I'm still not convinced by him, he throws too many arm punches and still doesn't look in great shape. Saying that though, he's improving all the time and it looks like he's being brought along at a good pace.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Tom Dallas ahead of 1 or 2 of those on the list in 18 months.

Fury said no heavyweight in Britain will fight him. I'm 99% sure Audley Harrison would. The guy doesn't even have a promoter. Where else can he go?

Surley Audley watched Furys last fight and heard that comment. Audley is terrible, but I think he would beat Tyson Fury easy.

Tom is under the radar right now and not getting talked about as much as the rest.
Dallas would beat a couple of the names listed above already I think. Price said he was a tough opponent when they fought in ABA Final.

None of the heavyweight prospects stand out at the moment (Price hasn't even started yet!) -- Does anyone feel confident we have a World titlist in that lot?

Going off what I have seen, Asterix, I would say no. Although once some of these dudes step up then it might look a little more promising. I do like Sexton though - nice boxer, a bit of power and has learned from his loss. I would pin my hopes on him more than anyone.

Tyson Furys never been down or even took a count. He allegedly has a concrete chin. At the moment he's the top prospect but time will tell when he faces tougher opposition.

Fury is top prospect as he is so young and has experience to gain.

Price's head is also too small to be the top prospect.

I've gone for Fury for these reasons. Especially due to his bigger head.

Not anyone remotely World Class whether that be Amateur or Pro!

I didn't vote because I have only seen Fury, Larry and Price fight. I think its a bit early to tell who is the best prospect especially as Price is yet to fight as a pro. Let them all have at least ten fights before we judge. Larry looks to be a harder puncher than Tyson, but Tyson seems to have a greater variety of punches, albeit lacking a bit of snap at times. Will make for some interesting domestic fights down the road for sure - lets hope they all keep winning.

Tom Dallas is one to watch. he is skillful and is hitting harder

Im probably not the best to hazzard a guess due to the lack of novice fights ive seen but ill give it a go

Tyson Fury- Looks very clumsy and for a size i dont think he is very strong how ever time is on his side hopfuly a fight against some a bit closer to his own size will tell us more but im thinking he may push on to euro level eventualy.

Derek Chisora- Beat sexton so should be a top domestic fighter soon but how lazy is this guy needs to step up what he does in the ring to have any chance.

Larry Olubamiwo- Only seen 1 fight but jesus can he hit definiatly got me intrested and want to see more of him. Any luck with some one who may last a few rounds. Kenna or Reid possiblities? probably would last long enough may have to go for a tougher fight looking at a big jump thou

Sam Sexton- He has come back well for the chisora loss probably could do with the rematch dont see him joining the top boys yet

Chris Burton- simlar position to Sexton has a loss to another prospect time to get a move on and fight opposition who will give him a fight. Probably only area level thou in the long run.

David Price - Best creditials but the pros is a different ball game wait till i watch him in the pros first.

Im a bit suprised Belshaw didnt get a mention but i guess needs to fight a live body first

Larry Olubamiwo looks promising with his size and power, could be the Brock Lesnar of boxing.

Sexton, good and could do very well.
Furey, never seen so I can't judge.
Chisora, never seen aswell.
Price, I think he could do damage but it all depends on his pro style.
Burton, Not good at all and will be the fighter that always challenges for the British title but never wins it.

Tyson Furys the best i hate 2 say it but hes right about David Price he has an ametuer style and his chin will fail in the Pro ranks hope im wrong and he goes on to beat Fury but cant see it happening

But i dont think furys that great i cant see him ever being a world champ
