I was also taken a back Cordoba's ring walk music - Dunne came out to a banging version of "the Irish Rover" and the crowd were hyped up and possibly excepted a similarly rousing tune for Cordoba - but Cordoba strolled out to some kind of Panamanian mellow acoustic guitar love song - sureal!

Some really bad ones mentioned, Oakey's is awful but I think it kinda personifies him and his fans!

I too dislike blue moon, very very boring!

Whenever I sit back and dream about being a boxer in another life, I always put a lot of thought into ring walk music, I think I would change it all the time depending on the opponent, but my first choice would be Fightklub by Kyza, that really pumps me up!

I like Enzo Macs tune, but I'm not overly fussed on him.........I don't really like Tony Oakey's garbage that he comes into......come on...if he'd been born with any other surname.......okay, not Hokey, or Kokey, or Lokey or Dokey lol...but I love watching Oakey fight, love his style.

I just thought it was a take off on "Oakey".

You'd have thought with the ban he'd just be glad to get that served and put it in the past. I was quite young when he got banned and remember thinking he was some kind of cheat, but to be fair it was cheap coke not exactly performance enhancing products a-la an American track "star".

that said I've heard it's pretty hard to put someone down for good when they're coked up, and a pro told me that. I have Johnny Tapia's book here, bought it when I was down Manc the other week for Barrera....apparently he used to fight on the stuff, perhaps it will shed a bit of light, whether it helps etc.......Also the mountain folk in South America who pick plants and carry sacks at altitude chew it cos apparently it helps....so maybe it would help in the ring, who knows.

Anyway, going on a tangent.....Oakey, top man.....wish I hadn't pissed a load of money up the wall on Ajisafe in Prizefighter
