Price has refused to get into a slanging match with Tyson Fury saying he'll let his fists do the talking and that Fury is disrespectful and lacks class. Absolutely spot on Pricey, i hope when you two clash, you spark him out.

As for Bunce, he's loving it stoking up the pressure on a rival fighter, saying that Fury didn't cleanly finish a guy off who was 4 stone lighter and 5 inches shorter than him in his first fight.

Buncey is a legend, great entertainment, probably in my top three people who i would like to meet

Brave of Price to carry on straight after the illegal shot, I was thinking he should have complained like hell and got some recovery time.

Illegal shot, but it was just after the ref shouted stop boxing. Price shouldn't have just stood there with his arms down

Price actually might be one of those Heavyweights that is too nice. Taking the shot was actually great for getting him riled up and unleashing the devastating KO.

Buncey has such great enthusiasm, building up the local lads of Liverpool. Loving the Neil Diamond sentiments.

I think they both seem like good lads and I think having met Tyson Fury a bit, that the press releases are a bit tongue in cheek.

Am sure if the Rhodes Small fight went ahead then there would have been quite a few travelling fans as well as Scousers!!

Bunce is superb, buy the guy who presents it is terrible. Twice he repeated that the Quigley fight would have been a draw had it gone the distance. Surely he meant a draw after 11 rounds. Made numerous other daft observations that Bunce corrected.

I can only presume Setanta are so skint they get him for peanuts

Andy Kerr is sound. Why would he 'surely' have meant a draw after 11 rounds? Say Dodson had heard the final bell and the last round was scored 10-7 or 10-8...he could have meant after that, no?

He's enthusiastic, more knowledgeable than you're average non-specialist presenter and makes a good foil for Steve.

Usually agree with you Ian, but think he is poor. I'll make a note of next cock ups when I watch a show. What I meant was how could he say it would have ben a draw if it had gone the distance when the round has been completed.

I like Andy Kerr. Decent bloke and quite witty. Works well with Buncey.

Andy Kerr does a good job and he seems like a nice guy. They could do a LOT worse.

Bunce and Kerr are my faviorite double team just beat Rita and Norris as for Price he looked good Ingelby came to win a really tough 1st fight

Agreed. Very tough first fight, especially when compared to the guy they put Fury in with first off.

Well if he is not knowledgable then he does hide it well, although there have been more than a few less than subtle hints from colleagues of Bunce on here that he has no knowledge of the sport.

I think he is good. I prefer Dempsey, but I do think he is very good.

was a top night for boxing and a top night for liverpool, ive been to many shows an that 1 was one of my favourites, now lets have more 50/50 fights plz

It is also bad mistakes like calling John Rawling by his wrong name, and Joe McNally as Joe McInally.

I like Kerr, as you say, he may not have a background in the sport, but i sensed a genuine feel for the game and compliments Buncey well, seems a decent enough fella.

Glad everyone enjoyed the show as much as we did, Hayemaker did a heck of a job for my money - I always love reading the websites afterwards to get a feel for how the fans enjoyed it. Buncey is usually the man for posting, but I might be able to clear something up for you ...Chris S!
Thanks for the kind words by the way, that pronunciation of McNally as McInally was truly inexcusable!

But Just to fill you in - and everyone else interested ... after 11 rounds of the main event, 1 judge had Dodson up 3 rounds, another by 2 and the third had it level.
So by my calculations had the ref let it go to the distance allowing for the knockdown and a 10-8 Quigley round Dodson would've been up by 1 judge, Quigley up by one and one would've been level, Hence a majority Draw. I think I was in a minority of 1 at the time who thought the ref should've given Dodson 1 more chance to see the fight out given it's importance, but I bow to the superior knowledge of Bunce and Richie that he had no choice but to stop the fight.
