Cotto is convinced Margo took liberties and has to pay for his actions.

Cotto is just bitching out here. Marg won fair and square, the gloves/pads/gauze made F All difference. When a huge WW sets his feet and swings 1000 of shots at your head and loads of them land your liable to be stopped after about 200-400 of them have found their target. Loaded gloves aren't necessary for that sort of damage, if the gloves had made a difference Cotto would be stopped early or have been seriously ruined

If Cotto thinks Marg won because of the wraps, rematch when the gloves are pre-checked, he won't though because deep down he knows the score and whats no part of Tony. I thought if Cotto improved his stamina he may have been able to win a rematch

Maybe so but Coto looks very pissed off in the video.

Personally I think he would have lost regardless!

Where does it say that Margarito landed 200-400 shots.

You are talking drivel yet again.

Margarito landed 267 times, 237 were classed as 'power shots'.

I think Magarito just beat him fairly and squarely. he took everything that Cotto threw at him and walked/wore him down in the end. Itsc a real shame whats happened to Antonio M, as he is a fantastic, tough fighter, but has tainted his career for himself. There is no way that he did'nt know his wraps were illegal? How could he not? A real shame that.Great win for Moserly too -tough as old boots is sugar shane.

I am astonished to see anyone on here justifying what he did.
If he was so convinced he was the better boxer - why do it ?
What utter drivel to suggest he didn't know.
He should never be allowed to fight again.

There is no EVIDENCE he cheated to beat Cotto... thats the point 26. Nobody is condoning what he did (or was going to do) against Mosley.

Cotto is a weaker chinned fighter than Mosley, maybe there was a need to hit a little harder against Mosley... maybe he's always cheated, we don't know. One thing I do know, is that if Margarito confesses to cheating against Cotto, then I think he's cheated in ALL of his fights... cause one thing he has always had is power, and if he landed that many clean shots against Cotto, who isn't the most durable, then Miguel was going to be in trouble. He hadn't suddenly gone from a Barry Jones esque puncher, KO'ing a fighter with a Wayne McCullough esque chin. I thought he had the style and power to beat Cotto.
