i am actually concerned that, of all the actual uk boxing fans we have, some will actually want the pacman to win, as im convinced hatton is actually not that popular outside manchester.

i dont think its hattons fault, personally i blame his period with warren, the alleged antics over tickets during other marquee stateside fights, and his football club type following. i may be wrong, but lets see....

I like to think that i dont let patriotism effect my judgement, but.........it does!!

I don't let nationality cloud my judgement, we are all human beings, I will support whichever boxer I like and I'm a fan of Pacquiao so therefore would like him to win.

I too am a big fan of Manny, have been for years (arlfella's missus is Filipino)... C'mon Pacman!

A bit because of nationality and a bit because you gotta love an underdog, I went for Hatton. But funnily enough I was routing for Mayweather when they fought but then again I did empty the bank on Mayweather!

Honestly though, i couldn't see a good argument for hatton beating pbf, but i think he has a real good chance against pacman. Ever since pac beat oscar de la punch bag, people think he is unbeatable.

As far as I'm concerned it's Pac, who I haven't seen much of, for me brings something new and interesting to the fight. All I know is he's a quality fighter with an almost mythological hard man quality about him, versus, product Hatton, which I've seen a million times.

So for me I don't really give a shit who wins but I've voted for Pac cos if Hatton wins I'm going to have it rammed down my throat, as are we all, for like EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No ta.

I just hope the best man wins, I really like both fighters, and just through being a Brit I have no doubt I will be supporting Ricky come fight night, but won't be upset if Pacman wins!!

Just want fight of the year, because the styles should gel so well, I can't wait.

By the way fellas, I'm going to be in NYC on fight night, anyone know of a good spot to watch the fight live in the Big Apple? Any help would be much appreciated

I like them both, aslong as its a good fight I am happy. I would kind of sway towards wanting Ricky to win cause I feel he needs that "elite in his peak" scalp that so far he does lack.

But never have really considered Nationality a big deal in any individual sport... team sports are different. Infact, being considered "anti" British by my mates... its just the Brits we talk about, I don't rate - not I don't like (e.g. Jenson Button now)... I aint going to support Jenson cause he is British only.

I think Pacquiao will outspeed Hatton he is not elosive enough to slip Pacs jab and win by a wide UD decison

Cant get out to Vegas so Im going to Manila with some mates to watch the fight. Ill be cheering for Hatton.
