Hi all,

With Calzaghe recently retiring, Hatton having maybe only 2-3 years left at the top, which British fighters will be among the elite/world champions within the next 3-7 years?

Hatton retires by Christmas against Witter and get's ktfo.

Think there seems a good crop of Fighters coming through from welter to Lt/Heavy, some Im very impressed with.

I like Fury and Price to cause some waves at HW, Khan to be a 3division champ, Mitchell to knick a belt and Brook to be steered down the WBO route and Jamie Moore to get some crowning glory

There is a hell of a lot of British talent coming up right now, but most are still in the early stages of development. I think the likes Hatton, Haye, Froch and Khan will have to tide things over for awhile.

I have a really bad feeling we will be going through a drought of World Class Brits for a few years.

What happens to Haye if he loses? Can't see where else he would have to go!

we've not really come up with any world class prospects since haye and froch turned pro when u look at it.

khan hasn't quite proved it yet so he doesn't count.

hopefully one of the olympic boys can come thru.

degale, saunders, sutherland and gavin look the best hopes.

of the current crop maybe mitchell.

maybe murray.

probably not on both those though.

George Groves and the Olympians are just starting out but I fancy him and Saunders to go far.

Then there's Khan, Froch and Haye doing it on the world stage this year.

Behind them are Moore, Brook, Cleverly and co.....with upcoming fighters like Moran, Thompson, maybe even Gary Davies to crack on for commonwealth or Euro glory, you never know.

We have some great prospects but besides two or three the next couple of years will be a learning curve.
