It is said if Haye wins, he has to sign to box a rematch with Wladamir, so it must be that Klitzcho has demanded a rematch clause be in the contract! If he has asked for it, this is not the actions of a man who's says he's going to punish Haye!

I really hope David does the business! Bring the title back to London!

Whatever happens, no one can accuse Haye of trying to price himself out of a deal or not wanting things to happen!

Well its not like he has to in the first place, so give Wlad a little credit. But ya Haye has some serious balls and after I learned about that contract my respect for him grew. He is like the Obama of the heavyweights, ready to bring change to a boring, out of shape division!

There are so many threads that deal with Haye or his upcoming execution vs Wlad. This makes it very difficult for me to properly distribute my dislike of his style and his overhypedness (yeah i invented that word).

He could very likely end up getting destroyed, but with a contract like that you have to admit he is willing to step up and take on the best, and then the other best, and after that the best again.

The biggest tragedy will be if Haye has his career finished by these bouts and won't be in a financially secure situation.
Nevertheless all hail to the man who is probably the biggest fresh air we have had in the sport for a long time, obviously I really hope he can pull off this massive risk.

I'm not sure all the sanctioning bodies will stand for it tho, I imagine if Haye does win then the IBF or the WBO or possibly both will say 'you fight your mandatory next or lose the belt' and thus the belts will be made Vacant and Haye will then rematch Wlad or fight Vitali without all 3 belts to his name.

Given what Enzo and Haye split for their fight last year, I very much doubt that, whatever happens from this point on. If you're promised peanuts and you're not even receiving the peanuts you should be receiving, it doesn't constitute a healthy bank balance. Why else do you think Enzo was learning omoplatas and looking to move into MMA? I feel really sorry for Enzo, to be honest.

Surely the 'fighting for peanuts' issue only affects the first fight, and should David pull off the upset he will be rewarded appropriately for the rematch, and subsequent finale to the trilogy if he beats wlad a second time?

If his next 3 fights are signed and sealed for peanuts, then he shouldn't be taking such a shitty deal in the first place.

What happens if Haye beats Wlad and then says no to the further fights, drops the belts and goes after valuev or chagaev? What sort of action could the Klits take? Could they prevent him from fighting other guys?

The man has balls. I can't imagine anyone else agreeing to something like that.

He can say he went out and fought the best, when they were at their best........ and was more interested in his legacy, rather than taking big paydays to defend the WBO title in fights where we all knew what the outcome would be, before the first bell rang :-)

Not a lot of fighters are in the breed of Haye any more he would of fought for anything he just wants to fight and beat the Klitschko's

I very much doubt that! I can't see either of them ever being skint.

Haye will continue to make substantial money after he's retired from Boxing.

I'm sure Haye will earn money after boxing but if thing go wrong against Klit he will have only earned a fraction of his potential and this is due to bad management
