Welliver VS Mailata rematch will be a beauty, both guys stood toe to toe in there first fight which saved the Cameron VS Hopolito fiasco last year. Will be a barnburner again for sure!!

Bostic is looking at kickstarting his career against the Always tough Atalili Fai, both these guys dont know how to take a backward step!!

Will be a good night of hard boxing!!!

Lets see how he goes. Charlie Liparota might be interested in him for Serge Yannick on his next show - TBA

Bostic is 13-3-0 has gone 10-0 in his last 10 beating some quality fighters. Hasnt fought for a year so we are bringing him back April 21st against Seiaute Mailata at Cruiserweight. He then has a May 2nd date at Light-Heavyweight and another on May 8th at Light-Heavy also. So 3 quick fights in succession then we will be ready to take on the best at Super-Middle-Light-Heavy.

Had a chance to fight Jaime Pittman April 24 but we have comitted to April 21st and looking at getting these tune up bouts out of the way first and foremost.

Tell Charlie we are more than happy to look at Serge Yannick, but lets make it a meaningful fight and put up a title!

Also lets not forget Chauncy has his 2 comeback fights May 2nd and May 8th also then we want Michael Kirby, John Hopoate, Solomon Haumono they gotta be title fights 6 and 8 rounders dont mean anything!

Meaningful title @ super middle would be difficult at this time as they are aiming at OZ title. Maybe light heavy, but Charlie, like me, ain't got much time for meaningless regionals atm.

Lets have a look at this. We'll consider a good match up but meaningless regionals aren't our style. May be able to work something out.

Hey Charlie, we are happy to look at anything really...........Bostic is booked up till after May 8th but after that we are ready and willing to face anyone. Would prefer 8/10 rounders minimum or title fights.

Lets Talk

Your opening comment on a thread you started said Bostic willing to fight any supermiddle/Lt Heavy, and on another thread you stated this fighter wants to only fight the best as stated by you below.

We got Jameson Bostic 13-3-0 comming down from the US and we'll fight any Light-Heavyweight whos up for it. Bostic is a good fighter and wouldnt be out of place in the ring with the very best from these parts! Lets get it on.

We'll take Porky, also interested in Luke Maloney, Tim Bell, Kerry Foley, Johny Walker any of those top guys. Looking at getting down to Super-Middle by mid-year Les Sherrington, Jaime Pittman, Sam Solimon any of those guys would be nice to

Now the best in supermiddle Australia wants to fight, and you opt to fight a 11-9 fighter and a 1-1, talk about all bark...... Woof,Woof.

Are you going to revisit that challenge from Pittman after Bostic destroys the part time boxers he's fighting in the next month?

Houndog,

You need to think first talk second my man. Bostic has been inactive for a year, and is currently not at his bnest weight of Super-Mid/Light-Heavy so we are having a few tune-up fights to shake the rust and get him down to his best fighting weight. Now we have comitted to the April 21st bout as the first stage of his comeback to the ring followed by a May 8th date with the possibility of a May 2nd bout as well. So clearly these bouts will not be against tough opposition because as stated they are tune-ups to shake the rust. 3 fights inside a month with some hard training under the belt and we'll be looking at taking on the best Australasia has to offer. We will fight the best but we aint stupid either, if you think after 12 months of inactivity we will jump straight in with Pittman your un-educated, I'd not agree to taking a fight 2 days after having fought as thats not smart either.

That's your problem N2shape you talk too much then think ma man, why would you call people out well before you were going to allow him to fight a heart beat, i realize your a promoter and we've been down this path before, remember you were trying to secure a fight via calling Hoppa limited thru this forum, Chauncys the man and all that shit.
I understand all your points, well educated me is, but you can't be cautious and BOLD at the same time, so which one is it? Your either a Tiger or a flightless bird.

Houndog,

I hear you, but at the same time all Im doing is letting it be known to the people out there that Bostic is here and is willing to fight anyone, now hes having a few tune-ups in April and first week of May but after that we are ready to roll. We are calling these guys early because we want to get the wheels in motion to get people starting to think about them. It's called promoting. We aint being cautious at all, giving a man whos had a year out of the ring 2 maybe 3 tune-ups in the space of a month isnt cautious its sensible

I love that you have an opinion Houndog so dont go anywhere, and you sound like you have your head screwed on at least.

Cool, i hope he fights Pittman, because he needs it, Bostic looks like he can fight and the fight should be an even contest and good for the people to see and more than likely good TV exposure for your fighter.
If your boy can make it down to supermid he could cause a stink, because not too many solid chins in that division ATM(Mundine, soliman gone to middle).

Will you revisit the challenge from pittman, is the offer still open?

Go anywhere, I live here on Boxrec

Houndog,

Of course we will revisit it, it was a broad offer as in rounds, titles, money hadnt even been discussed. We'd definately want to fight Pittman over 10 rounds preferably 12! The fight deserves that.

We'll review where we are at after hes completed his series of tune up bouts and make the decision to either stay at Light-Heavy or come down to Super-Middle.

Message from Pat Leonard of NZPBA accompanying last night's results:

I was impressed by Jameson Bostic in his inaugural outing here. He is very quick, with an excellent reach and jabs. He took his time, but the talent is there. Next time he will step out proper. Nice lad to talk to, with the typical confidence of a USA Citizen.

Thanks for posting the comment Anton, got Pat'sa results but he doesnt send the Comments with them.

Bostic was looking to shake the rust last night, he got in some rounds which ne needed after a 12 month layoff. He let his Jab win him the fight and was patient and composed in winning every round while getting in some much needed ring time. In Mose Ioelu's credit he came fit, and proved to be a tough, durable guy. Bostic's snap and timing was a little off and was not in top shape once hes back in top shpae he'll be a huge threat!

Bostic also goes by Jamie Kang..He is a very good guy and both in and out of the ring. I think he is a true prospect with very high potential. I have been talking with him for around a year now and wish nothing but the best for him...I saw him in Key West, where he laid out a very good prospect J.C. Lamberti and at the Seminole Hard Rock on Ibragimov-Austin UC...Both of those fights he came in as the underdog too.. With his height, reach and power, he could do very well against anyone at 168-175...He was previously with Don King, but DK was not getting him fights and pretty much let him sit, until he finally got out of his contract.

One thing that I noticed though was he was fighting at Super middleweight but his first fight back was at Cruiserweight(190+) and his fight this weekend is against a Heavyweight. Any updates I can get from his fights in NZ would be greatly appreciated.
