Really looking forward to this one, probably the best heavyweight match up domestically so far this year - The 2 Prizefighter Champs! Plus to solid prospects duke it out.
I'm traveling over to Ireland to see it!
I do think this is a bad fight for Rogan, I can see Sexton out boxing him here. Sexton has shown a good chin, taking a huge shot from Chris Burton in the final round of Prizefighter, to just shake it off in seconds and go straight in and get the stoppage win. Sexton has got some great boxing knowledge, alot gained from his amature pedigree and can control the ring, as hes shown so far in his career, he's young and real hungry for this. What an opportunity for him.
Good on Sexton for taking this fight, it's in Rogans home town and against him in top form, that takes some balls. It should be a 10000 attendance!
Rogan has been getting great results recently, all be it against British 'has beens' but I feel he has limited skills in comparison to Sexton who is young and will only get stronger.
My prediction is Sexton will box most of fight until Rogan starts blowing, then go and get a stoppage from flurries in the final few rounds. Sexton showed great fittness in the prizefighter, and as this is a huge opportunity I know he will be working harder then ever to ensure he has it all to play with on the night.
Sexton Stoppage late on... Or clear points win if not.
