Outward....Sat 20/6/09 leaving Stanstead at 11.30 arrive Dussledorf Weeze 13.40
Return.......Sun 21/6/09 leaving Dussledorf Weeze 20.35 arrive stanstead 20.45

the cost will be about £31.50 return, including all taxes and debit card booking fees and carrying only hand baggage.

car hire...i have found it for £31.00 (car will take me and another 3 people). pick up at airport on landing and return to airport on departure.

hotel.....not checked yet but should get a family room somewhere for 4 lads for about £50.00

Fight ticket.... rumour has it it should be about £30

so, for about 80 quid for the whole package including flights, car and accommodation, its possible to go to the Haye fight. it could be a monstrous event if david wins, but equally, if he doesnt, you can always tell your grandkids that you went to watch a fight live for the heavyweight championship of the world.

So...room for me and another 3......who is up for it??

Not sure the fight ticket will be £30, unless it's in awful seats. I went to Vitali-Peter and the ticket was £130 (taking the piss-weak one pound equals one euro exchange rate).

But good luck, the rest of the maths sounds very agreeable.

guess the seat price ive stated is the minimum, it would just be great to get there and support david.

would love to go but last time I told wife I was going to Germany I ended up staying for 5 years. This is a big ground, think reasonable seats will be about 100 euros and with shite pound thats not good, remember buying cheap tickets for Lewis/Bruno and wishing I'd stayed at home (the good old days of free TV boxing )

Have a great one. Should be a storming atmosphere if you're with some Brits. When I went to the Klit-Peter fight the German crowd were quieter than the Emirates Stadium.

i so nearly booked ryanair to berlin, as was convinced fight would be at the o2 arena there, thats where the smart money was on..

well, first stage, for anyone interested is to get the flight secured. the rest will then fall into place

I was supposed to be going to Vegas for the Hatton fight however I have been refused entry to the country due to a naughty misdemeanor (am going Jamaica where they are not so fussy as compensation lol) so will genuinely be up for going to this bout. Any good strip clubs in the area out of interest?

well...im up for anything social while im there, even if it is for only one night. i lived in germany for 6 years while in the army, that country needs me to return again...its been at least 2 months since i was there..

I did the same thing buying flight and accomodation in Berlin X 2 British Airways were typically unaccomodating when I tried to swap for a MUCH CHEAPER ticket to Dusseldorf. Couldn't face being in Germany that weekend and not seeing the fight, so I've now got flights and accomodation for the same dates in both fooking places. I guess I'll change the date of the Berlin flights for £50 each and go later in the year instead. I've been one stupid mofo over this thing and leart a lesson thats for sure.

Tickets are available for 24 Euro (standing room), 39 Euro (upper stands) as well as 49 Euro (lower stands).
