Eubank put in very good performances against Randy Smith and Anthony Logan, who had been in with all of the world's best middleweights.

Plus he was undefeated - Benn wasn't.

Best fighter of the lot was Hoko.

Jamie Moore (good fighter granted) but would get slaughtered by Pyatt (probably even now) . Are you sure?

And Haye to beat Bruno? No way, Bruno would park him after Haye had feasted on his jab for a time.

Kaylor would have done Froch too as would Eubank, Watson, Benn, Graham, Calzaghe, etc etc etc

A little bit of the old nostalgia there I think, Boxingchat.

Bruno had a good jab, but I did say IF Haye proves himself against Wlad. Wlad would have toyed and destroyed Bruno - he simply would have mauled, held, survive for four rounds using his superior strength and speed, and then walloped him. Wlad is a far better champion than Bruno. If Haye proves himself, then yes- he should be way to quick for Big Frank... but he hasn't.

I do agree on the Pyatt situation, reason why I said "close" was cause there looks like there is more to come from Jamie. I would probably tip Pyatt - but would like to see how Jamie does at world class first.

Froch loses to all those mentioned, except Kaylor.... too big and hits to hard for Kaylor.

Looking at the names it sure doesn't seem like 20 years ago. Perhaps I'm getting old.

I would'nt honestly like to pick a winner between Pyatt and Moore,Chris was one of my favourite fighters then and Mooresy is now,i was just thinking a while back how much they remind me of each other.........what a fight it would've been though.
Just for the record,i would pick big Frank against Haye,and Froch beats Kaylor any day...i really liked Mark but Froch is too big and durable at the weight.

Pyatt was class as a lightmiddle, and so is Moore, it would of been a 50/50 fight.

Tom Collins was really an enigma, when he was on form he was superb, but he could also be awful when he couldn't get his head right.

You know, Collins floored Dennis Andries twice on the way to a 15-round decision.
Collins had a right hand that spelt t-r-o-u-b-le. He nailed Jeff Harding with the best right hand he could throw in a world title crack in Oz in 1989. Harding reeled, tottered, survived and made it to the bell, whereupon Collins immediately quit. You could see Collins thinking 'f uck that'.
