I was in Liverpool a couple of weeks after Micky had thrown the towel out in the Earl-Katsidis fight. Micky was Lord of the Manor in Liverpool that night.
Every fan in the place was paying him due respect.

I dont see why they have a retirment age on refs if they feel fit they should be allowed to carry on he is a great ref

No one has a crystal ball. For me, Vann didn't stop it because he thought Earl wasn't done. No where near Enzo-like legs. A mini wobble that's all it was.
Vann was fitness conditioner at Leeds Rhinos ..don't know if he's still involved.
