Haye's confidence

I appreciate Haye is natrually supremely confident, but as he did with Macarinelli, he really does believe he's going to do a job on the Klitschko's. He did with Enzo, was absolutely convinced he'd not just beat him but knock him out and proved it convincingly, same here i reckon.

I for one am starting to believe he knows something and will come back with the title on June 20th. He'll make a complete twat of himself if he doesn't after all he's been spouting and i don't believe he is deluded like some..... and we know the Klits are not keen on the fights.

I'm gonna go with Haye on this one. :TU:

No I think the Klitschkos will both be to big and powerful for him he be made to eat his words by them but Wlad may have to get of his back to do it Klitschko KO in the 7th

Nah i think Haye Knocks him out and what an acheivement that would be.He wll be way too fast for Wlad and i believe will have the ko punch to get him out of there.

I have not really commented on any of the numerous threads over the past few months about Haye and the Klits as I wasnt sure who I favoured, but the closer this fight gets I am favouring Haye (it might just be his supreme confidence rubbing off on me)

I think Haye will be too fast and too slick for Wlad (still undecided about Vitali) and will knock him out in the middle rounds.

And I know you will all shoot me down for saying this, but I believe that Haye has a better chin than a lot of people give him credit for. I'm not saying that he will walk through Wlad's shots, but I dont think he wil just fall over when the first punches land like some suggest.

Is Haye's major weakness his chin or more his defence?

I agree. He just hangs his chin out by being a bit to enthusiastic to knock his opponent out early.

But I do think Haye will be a little wary of Wlads power and hang it out there so much.

Yeah.

Haye isn't stupid and won't be oblivious to the problems the Klits can cause. He'll have a game plan.

Haye is selling a fight, a "world heavyweight championship" fight for that matter, everytime he opens his mouth or wears a shirt depicting him holding decapitated heads he's making noise and creating interest even if it means a hell of a lot of people wanting to see him get knocked out. I'm sure come fight night he'll have 100% respect for Wlad in the ring and if he doesn't then he's a bloody fool.

the chances are if wladimir catches haye then it'll hurt him, it's not totally to do with haye having a very weak chin but more to do with the power of wladimir's right hand, it's probably the hardest punch right now in heavyweight boxing. the problem with wladimir is he's very hesitant in throwing that right hand, he's a total jab guy and he only throws the right hand when he's softened his opponent up, while haye is the opposite, haye will throw the right hand from the start, he's totally confident in throwing his big punch and landing it aswell. another thing about wladimir i don't like is he does'nt know how to survive in fights, he panicks, when he's hurt he loses all balance because his feet go close together when going on the backfoot, and wladimir doesn't clinch right, he either throws himself into a clinch which could leave himself open, or he laves himself open at times when in a clinch because of the positioning of his arms when in a clinch. to put it simply, wladimir has alot of flaws, and they all get exposed when he's hurt.

Just watched the clips on Setanta with Haye.

He's going to look really stupid if he doesn't win this.

Thing is whether Haye's chin is decent or poor, it is decent or poor as a cruiserweight.

The Klitschkos are huge men who both hit hard. I think Haye is going all out for the KO (and he may do it a la Sanders) but I really think David will get caught and floored even by jabs or innocuous looking shots and will be rescued after several visits to the canvas.
