Khan running scared of Valerno

Edwin Valerno is ruthless and fights like an Animal between the ropes. What a coincidence Khan runs from the division to fight Kotelnick. Just as the Venezuelan displays his awesome power, Edwin Valerno will clean up the lightweight division en-route to becoming p4p king in the next couple of years.

V-A-L-E-R-O spells Valero!

And yes he would destroy Khan but I doubt that fight ever happens.

If Valero can't land, then he will be more brain damaged than he is.

Valero's defense is horrible and Khan was getting early stoppages against cabdrivers like Edwin was.

They're not exactly on a collision course so I wouldn't say Khan is running scared.

I'm not sure whether Khan is running scared of Valero or not, but it makes sense to keep the fragile one away from someone who possesses the power to remove Amir's head off his shoulders.

Khan and Warren sensible, why would they match him against Valero?

Khan has done well to get Kotelnik at light welter and let's take it one step at a time

The problem for Khan - or 'Team Khan' - is not just Valero, or Marquez, but a whole list of opponents who have to be avoided. And the list at 140 will soon resemble the 'murderers' row' at 135 he thinks he's left behind.

Khan's 2 fights removed from one of the most devestating KO losses in recent memory. Who'd have thought we'd see him in with MAB and now Kotelnik so soon after that sort of setback? I certainly didn't, I thought he'd be fed cans for at least a couple of years under Warren.

I'd currently pick Valero to chin Pacman, so as far as 'running scared' goes, he's not alone and the company that puts him in isn't exactly a weak bunch. Valero is a nightmarish opponent for any and every lightweight out there, let alone someone who's weakness just happens to be the guy's greatest strength.
