Terence Crawford 139 lbs beat Henry Lundy 138 lbs by TKO at 2:09 in round 5 of 12

  • Fourth consecutive title belt loss for Lightweight Lundy at 140 pounds, WBO World, WBO NABO, NABF (twice), and the WBC International being the belts Hank Lundy tried to win in the higher weight class but failed to do so.
  • Televised main event bout. Lightweight Philly fighter Lundy entered the bout confident and stated he would win. Lundy started well, but could then not match champion Crawford's punch count output or furious pace set at 140 pounds.
  • Lundy won a fast paced first round. Crawford then overwhelmed him with head and body punches which found the mark by volume and accuracy. Lundy went down in a corner in the fifth round. He beat the count, but the bout was soon stopped.
