Diaz stops Smith in battle of unbeatens

In a battle of unbeaten welterweights, Kenneth Diaz (7-0, 6 KOs) won by TKO when the corner of Rikardo Smith (6-1, 1 KO) stopped 
the  fight at :45 seconds of the third round. Smith, who ended with a swollen left eye, was down one time in the first round. 
The bout took place Friday night at the Ruben Zayas Montañez Coliseum in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico.
In other action, unbeaten lightweight Ray Ojeda (10-0, 5 KOs) scored a came from behind to score a spectacular fifth round KO over  
Regino Canales (4-3, 1 KO). Canales sent Ojeda to the canvas in the fourth round, but Ojeda came stronger in the fifth and after  
Canales visited the canvas the referee stopped the bout at :58.
Also a bout between super lightweights Anthony Sanchez (7-1-1, 5 KOs) and Osenohad Vazquez (6-1-1, 2 KOs) ended in a six round draw 
after one judge voted 58-56 for Sanchez, one 58-56 for Vazquez and the other one 57-57.
