En un pleito de pocas emociones y en donde no hubo un claro ganador

"Nene" Ortega vence al boricua Rosario y es campeón latino de la WBO

El mexicano Edgar “Nene” Ortega ganó por la vía de la decisión dividida al puertorriqueño Daniel Rosario, para obtener el cetro latino de peso welter de la WBO, que estaba vacante, en lo que fue el pleito principal que presentó la noche del viernes en el salón José Cuervo, All Star Boxing, Producciones Deportivas y RB Producciones con la señal de Telemundo.

El resumen del pleito fue que no hubo un claro ganador. Los primeros cinco episodios fueron lo mejor que mostraron ambos púgiles, porque el resto del combate los invadió el cansancio y eso fue determinante para que ya no se viera una buena pelea, que paso a ser muy ríspida, atropellada y con pocas emociones.

Las puntuaciones de los jueces igual fueron malas, el primero de ellos otorgo un 98-92 a favor de Ortega, nada que ver en lo que sucedió en el pleito; la segunda tarjeta marcó un empate de 95-95, más apegado a lo que hicieron en el ring Ortega y Rosario y finalmente la última puntuación favoreció a Ortega, con un desproporcionado 97-93.

El primer episodio, Ortega y Rosario empezaron con buen ritmo el pleito, donde llegaron a conectarse buenos golpes a dos manos, por lo que el famoso round de estudio no lo fue y ambos boxeadores, hasta ese momento, se veía en buena forma.

Para el segundo round, Rosario salió mayor concentrado y conectó varios golpes al rostro del “Nene”, que llegaron a cimbrarlo pero sin problema, ya que Ortega contestaba a los ataques, pero sin tener mucha profundidad.

Después de los ataques del boricua, Edgar Ortega salió con más decisión en el tercer round y fue él, quien contestó con la misma moneda y fueron dos certeros y potentes rectos a dos manos que pusieron mal a Rosario, por lo que éste al verse acechado utilizó el recurso de abrazar a su rival para no recibir más castigo, saliendo bien librado.

El quinto round, y con el calor de la reyerta, Ortega recibió un cabezazo de Rosario, por lo que se sufrió un corte a un costado de su ceja derecha, y esto fue bien aprovechado por el boricua quien conectó sólidamente sus obuses que pusieron mal a Ortega.

Después, el pleito ya no fue como se esperaba. Ambos peleadores, por su agotamiento, ya no pudieron mostrar sus mejores armas y se convirtió en una pelea muy atropellada, con muchos abrazos, como no queriendo nada y lanzando golpes sin mucho sentido, para así buscar el famoso “golpe de nocaut” que nunca llegó.

En otros duelos, Elías Olivares, sobrino de la leyenda Rubén “Puas” Olivares, no tuvo un buen debut y fue noqueado efectivamente en el segundo round por Jorge Rubio, quien se recuperó de una caída en el primer episodio. La pelea fue en peso mosca.

Luis “Cotto” Vidales derrotó por decisión unánime en ocho rounds a Saúl “Puma” Mendoza, en superligero; Emanuel Navarrete noqueó técnicamente en cuatro rounds a Emanuel Domínguez en supergallo; en peso supermosca, Víctor Uriel López ganó decisión dividida en seis rounds a Francisco Vara; en peso paja, Giovanni Andrade venció por decisión unánime a Luis Alberto Nájera y en una buena pelea en peso gallo, Jesús Pérez se impuso a Fernando López Saavedra por decisión unánime en cuatro rounds.

Cuautlancingo, Puebla.- En una emocionante pelea, el queretano Jesús “Che-che” Santillán venció por KOT en seis rounds al capitalino Isao Carranza, para adjudicarse el campeonato Cabofe de peso supergallo del WBC, que se encontraba vacante, en lo que fue el pleito estelar que presentó Torres Cabrera Producciones.

El desenlace del combate se dio luego de que el médico de ring determinó pararle el pleito a Carranza debido a un fuerte corte e inflamación debajo de su ceja derecha.

Jesús Santillán prácticamente ganó desde el primer episodio del combate, ya que desde el primer gong salió con un “nocaut de vestidor” ya que en un fuerte intercambio de golpes mandó a la lona a Isao Carranza, quien al reincorporarse, se veía en malas condiciones, además del fuerte corte debajo de su ceja derecha, pero aún así siguió en la reyerta.

El resto del combate, Santillán impuso sus condiciones y dominó ampliamente a Carranza, que por más que quiso, no pudo dar ese golpe de nocaut que le diera el triunfo. Cada round que pasaba, el apodado “Che-che” inteligentemente golpeó la ceja derecha de Carranza, zona en la cual ya se encontraba fuertemente inflamado y de un sangrado profundo.

En otros resultados que se pudieron ver por Cadena Tres, Aarón Lazcano ganó decisión unánime a Eric Bárcenas en peso ligero, en cuatro rounds; Manuel Damián noqueó en tres rounds a Antonio Arellano, en minimosca; Jorge Santos ganó decisión unánime a Alberto Arellano en pluma a cuatro rounds; Edosn Noria ganó por la misma vía a Guillermo Aguilar en cuatro rounds; Cristian Gómez ganó por decisión unánime a Luis Montelongo en superligero a cuatro episodios; Eduardo Hernández y José Flores empataron en seis rounds en 126 libras y Diana Mejía ganó decisión mayoritaria a Lidia Hernández en gallo a cuatro episodios.
