If he died in Dec. of 1957, he was 86 at the time of death. His sister, my great grandmother, died at the age of 89 in 1968. So they appear to be long-lived, at least these 2 were. I'm assuming he outlived his wife, and I know that he moved to St. Louis at some point after his boxing career. There were 7 other siblings and I'm in the process of nailing that down also. I have his sister's baptismal certificate. Did he die in St. Louis? I'll assume so until I find more details. It does sort of sound like &quot;Bklyn&quot; though - a longshoreman being shot. <br /> Are we sure that this wasn't his son, Tommy?
