==Exhibition Tour==

On September 28, 2006, "Mike Tyson's World Tour" was announced. Tyson said he hoped to fight 100 four-round exhibitions throughout the world over the course of a year. "Mike Tyson's World Tour" was shades of the 1930s "Tour" by former World Heavyweight Champion [[Jack Dempsey]].

On October 21, 2006, Tyson made the first and only stop of his exhibition tour in Youngstown, Ohio. Tyson and [[Corey Sanders]] boxed four two-and-a-half minute rounds. Both Tyson and Sanders wore t-shirts, and Sanders wore headgear. Tyson dropped Sanders in the first round and appeared to some ringside observers to have held Sanders up later in the round after landing another hard punch. Tyson weighed 241.5 pounds for the fight, while Sanders weighed 292.5.

==Legal Troubles==

On December 29, 2006, Tyson was arrested around 2:00 a.m. for suspicion of DUI and possession of cocaine (a felony). That afternoon, he was arraigned and ordered released without bond. Under the terms of his release, Tyson had to submit to drug and alcohol testing and could not drink or take nonprescription drugs while the case was pending. He was also told not to leave the state of Arizona, the place where the crime took place.

On January 12, 2007, an Arizona Grand Jury indicted Tyson on two counts of drug possession and two counts of driving under the influence of drugs. On September 24, 2007, Tyson pleaded guilty to possession of narcotics and driving under the influence. He was convicted of these charges in November 2007 and sentenced to 24 hours in jail, 360 hours community service, and 3 years probation.

'''Edwin "Dynamite" Valero''' started boxing at around age 12, compiling a reported amateur record of 86-6 with 45 kayos. He was Venezuelan amateur champion three years running, as well as Central and South American champion (beating [[Francisco Bojado]], July 13, 2000).

Prior to turning pro, on February 5, 2001, Valero was in a severe motorcycle accident, in which he fractured his skull, forcing surgery to remove a blood clot.

Valero claims that his Venezuelan doctor cleared him to fight on January 17, 2002 and he turned pro that July with a first-round kayo. After posting a record of 11-0 (11 first round knockouts) in the United States, Valero ran into trouble.

In January 2004, he failed an MRI in New York and thus was denied a licesnse, effectively banning him from fighting in the United States. On March 19, 2008, Texas granted him a license.

In 2006, Valero scored his 17th consecutive first-round win, eclipsing the undocumented 100-year-old record established by [[Young Otto]] in 1906, who reportedly won 16 straight boxing matches by first round knockout. "In my matches, I focus on winning, but I'm not going for knockouts," said Valero. In March 2006, Valero's streak was snapped in his 19th bout when he stopped his foe in the second. Since that time, [[Tyrone Brunson]] broke Valero's record by scoring 19 straight first-round wins.

Edwin Valero has decided to make Japan his base of operations, and lives in Tokyo with his wife and children.

On September 4, 2008, Valero gave up his WBA super featherweight title and announced he was moving up to lightweight.

'''Chad Dawson''' was born to Wanda and [[Rick Dawson]] in Hartsville, South Carolina in 1982. He has 4 brothers and 2 sisters. When Chad was 7 years old, his father, a former boxer, moved the family to New Haven, Connecticut. He turned professional in 2001, after being the 2000 United States National Under-19 Amateur Champion at 165 pounds while compiling a 67-13 amateur record.

In his professional debut, Dawson knocked out [[Steve Garrett]] at 1:46 of the second round on August 18, 2001. Coming up as a prospect he earned victories over notable opponents such as [[Ian Gardner]] and [[Carl Daniels]].

On June 2nd, 2006 in his bout with [[Eric Harding]] (23-3-1), Dawson scored an unanimous decision victory becoming the new [[North American Boxing Federation|NABF]] Light heavyweight Title holder. After suffering a flash knockdown in the opening seconds of the first round, Dawson dominated the fight and came away with a decision by scores of 117-110, 116-111, and 117-110. On February 3, 2007, Dawson faced [[Tomasz Adamek]] (31-0-0) for the [[WBC]] Light heavyweight title, Dawson would win by unanimous decision, with scores of 116-110, 117-109, 118-108. Dawson has since defended his title successfully against [[Jesus Ruiz]] and [[Epifanio Mendoza]], by 4 and 6 round TKOs, respectively.

Dawson still resides in New Haven, Connecticut and has a son, Prince Chadwick. He is trained by [[Dan Birmingham]].
