Brian is one of the fighting O'Shea brothers along with [[Boxer:Rory O'Shea:030192|Rory ]]
 & [[Tom O'Shea]]. As an amateur Brian won several Chicago Golden Gloves Open division titles; starting at 126 lbs. in 1957, and at lightweight (135 lbs. ) in 1958, 59, 60 & 1961. The 1958 title came at the expense of his brother Tom, who later moved down in weight & won the 1960 Open division 126lb. title. O'Shea was the National AAU Light Welterweight Champion in 1959.

Thanks, don't have any paperwork. The scanner was a gift & had a friend hook that up. Only was able to learn what I did on a PC because I purchase one in 95' for the family and can type.

LaRosa ended his professional boxing days in 2004 with a final record of 32-23. In a career that had several stumbling blocks, LaRosa can be proud of his 1994 victories over [[Lenny LaPaglia]] for the IBO Lightheavyweight title and his [[IBO]] Heavyweight title win over [[Frank Minton]].

Despite ending his ring record with several losses, LaRosa did manage to collect wins over some former world champions. Those victories included [[Trevor Berbick]] in 1999, and both [[Iran Barkley]] and [[Dwight Muhammad Qawi]] in 1998.
