Fight took place in Puerto Salvador Allende in Managua, near the end of the first round, Felix connected a right hand to the face of Flahan Sakkreerin Jr that sent him to the canvas, during the second round Felix continued punishing Sakkreerin who however, responded by managing to connect Felix in a couple of times thus surviving the second round, during the third round Felix again connected another right hand to the face of Sakkreerin leaving him unconscious, which gave the victory by KO to Felix Alvarado who won the opportunity to dispute a fight for the title of the world at the hands of Milan Melindo.
