I attended many shows there including the pro debut of Gerry Cooney in 1977 on &quot;Howard Davis Night&quot; with Ronnie Harris fighting the main event against James Parks.<br /> <br /> There wa also boxing at the gym at Queens boulevard off of Woodhaven boulevard in Elmhurst.
