There were regular boxing shows at the Sunnyside Gardens (Queens Boulevard and 45th street) from the 1940&#039;s(?) until at least 1980. I attended many shows there including the pro debut of Gerry Cooney in 1977 on &amp;quot;Howard Davis Night&amp;quot; with Ronnie Harris fighting the main event against James Parks.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
There wa also boxing at the gym at Queens boulevard off of Woodhaven boulevard in Elmhurst. I don&#039;t recall the name they used for that sight.&lt;br /&gt;
