*Hide wins the first two rounds by dancing round Bowe and jabbing. Then Bowe decides to attack the body in the third, which hurts Hide. The latter was knocked down twice in each of rounds three, four and six and once in round five. The referee counts Hide out after the seventh knockdown.
*Bowe has later admitted in interviews that Hide had him out on his feet at one point in the fight and was the hardest puncher he ever faced.
