'''Jose Luis Roque''' Jose was suspended for walking out during weigh-in the first year of his career. Just recently, he pulled out of an August fight with Jose Florez, claiming he rolled his ankle—which was never medically determined. Then, again in mid October, he pulled out of a WBF title fight with Jacksonville’s Curtis Harper claiming hospitalization and stomach pains, again lacking medical proof. It is commonly known that Jose drinks alcohol during training camps and maintains zero loyalty to his training regimen, coaching staff, management, and investors.

It is estimated by prior and current management teams that Jose has cost investors, coaching staff, and managers over $200k in possible purses and fighter cost.
In South Florida, Jose is known as “The Chicken.”
