I severely dispute the neutrality of the fight report. This is definitely NOT what happened.
I deleted it, as cleaning it up to be NPOV would basically require me deleting all the text and re-writing in whole.--[[User:Matt Tegen|Matt Tegen]] 00:21, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
Valuev later admitted he didn't want to hurt his idol, the living legend Holyfield. I believe him, b/c his actions in the fight were really care-ful. He did the absolute minimum to win based on home bonus and champion bonus.

Results
- Official result: Krasniqi UD Minto
- Result in big *german* boxing forum: Minto UD Krasniqi

How to judge the rounds?
Minto lightyears more aggressive & active, takes the risk, high workrate, many hits to the gloves, but connects often with the uppercut, makes the fight

Krasniqi in safe mode, connects only 2-3 times per round but with accurate jabs / punches

If a boxer is only in safe mode that is no boxing IMHO. A wannabe-contender like Krasniqi should bring more than standing back to the ropes eating body punches and uppercuts 3/4 of the time. It was a pathetic performance!
Nobody wants to see a boxer like Krasniqi: Boxing that "safe" is not really entertaining!

OK, Minto did not connect with massive power punches. But there were enough hits to score the rounds for Minto! So why the heck did Krasniqi let Minto rule the fight?

Against a smaller man like Minto jabs are the tool of choice. But Krasniqi did use the jab only some now and then. Why? A real world-class boxer like WK or Valuev had out-jabbed Minto!

Study the tapes: Minto had a bad defense. If Krasniqi is the superior boxer he believes he is why didn't he stop Minto early?
