Hello. I believe I found that image of Tex Jordan for sale on eBay (sports memorabilia section). I did not buy the photo, but copied it from the listing, then uploaded it to the BoxRec Wiki. If you have not done so already, you might create a search on eBay for "Tex Jordan." In the meantime, I'll keep my eye open to see if it is listed again. (It may have already been sold.) Also ask if Harry Shaffer at Antiquities of the Prize Ring will keep his eye open: [http://www.antekprizering.com/].
BTW: Do you have his real (birth) name, dates of birth and death, and any other biographical information you can share with us? Also, any other photos you have and wish to share can be added to (or linked from) his Wiki page. Thanks. --[[User:Ric|Ric]] 17:34, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
:I think his name was "Robert", but we always knew him as "Uncle Tex". I'll check around with my cousins, someone will know for sure. Fascinating individual - he always had stories at the ready. One in particular came to mind with the recent stories about Amelia Earhart. He was married to the sister of Fred Noonan's wife. Tex told us one time that he saw off Fred and Amelia at Oakland Airport. Just as Fred was climbing into the cockpit, Tex supposedly took a .45 out of his pocket and handed it to him. Turns out that .45 casings were uncovered at the suspected crash site. [[User:Ronnotel|Ronnotel]] 17:53, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
