Salomon Corella retired from boxing in 1982. In August 1985 he won an academic scholarship from Georgetown University to study Farm and Ranch Technology in the United States. While studying in the United States Salomon married an American woman and made the United States his home. In 1995 Salomon won a second scholarship, this time an athletic scholarship, to run cross country for Kennesaw State University where he along with his team mates won four Peach Belt Conference and Three Regional Championships in NCAA Division II. Salomon graduated in 1999 with a teaching degree in Spanish. Currently he is a Spanish Teacher at one of the top High Schools in Atlanta, Georgia. Salomon is also a very successful business man; currently he is the owner of one of Atlanta&#039;s fastest growing landscaping companies.
