Tom Yankello, World Class Boxing Gym’s Head Trainer & Talent Evaluator, is widely recognized in the boxing world as one the sport’s elite trainers, developing numerous champions & top contenders from the ground floor to the world championship level. Tom started the World Class Boxing Channel on YouTube as his way to give back to the sport he loves. His channel is filled with boxing instructional videos.

Trainer Tommy Yankello
* 2007/2008 Honorable mention to Official Top 5 Trainers in the World list by Doug Fischer, Ring Magazine.
* Worked 65+ World & Regional Title bouts & many other significant nationally & internationally televised bouts.
* “If I were managing a fighter & needed a trainer who could take us all the way, Tommy Yankello would be on my short list. What he does with his talent is very impressive. His passion & enthusiasm for the sport, & his commitment to his fighters, is as good as anybody’s.” – Joe Tessitore, ESPN Boxing
* “Brock’s development & improvement has been as startling as that of any boxer in recent memory.” – Steve Kim, MaxBoxing
* “Whenever a fighter improves as quickly & drastically as Minto has, he becomes an unknown commodity that makes it harder to find him a big fight. None of the bigger names seem to want to step up & risk what they’ve got against a guy who looks better & better with every fight the way he does. He’s the most rapidly improving fighter on the planet.” – Dino Duva, Promoter
* “Had this been a year ago, many of the combinations would have caught Taylor flush, but he has improved so much under the watchful eye of trainer Tommy Yankello that many were slipped or bounced off his gloves.” – Kurt Wolfheimer, Fightnews.com
== Career ==

Spadafora won the [[IBF]] lightweight title in the summer of 1999. Although an underdog in the fight, he won thouroughly. He defended his IBF title eight times. He had a famous sparring session with [[Floyd Mayweather Jr.]] in 1999 in which he dominated Floyd in training. Mayweather himself has acknowledged this but claims to have been out of shape.

== Legal Troubles ==

On February 23, 2005, Spadafora was sentenced to 21 to 60 months in prison for shooting his girlfriend in the stomach in August 2004. Spadafora was paroled in April 2006 after spending 13 months in prison and a boot camp.

On May 30, 2007, Spadafora returned to prison for violating his parole and was given a 21 month to five year prison sentence. In August 2007, Spadafora was ordered to be released from prison, as there was not enough evidence available to continue with parole violation proceedings.
