Sylvester took the title he lost to Asikainen in June 2006. Sylvester was down at the sound of the bell at the end of the first round but the referee didn't credit a knockdown for some obscure reason. Asikainen was down in round seven. Sylvester punched illegally and intentionally Asikainen in the neck in round 8. Referee didn´t penalise him nor did he give Asikainen a recovery break. Sylvester floored Asikainen twice in the 11th round (first not being ruled a knockdown, because Sylvester pushed Asikainen and hit him after the stop command - but it was ruled a slip?) before the fight was stopped.

This fight was for the vacant [http://www.nbaboxing.com/ NBA] heavyweight championship. It was also rumoured to be a pre-eliminator for WBC/WBA/IBF who had Henry Akinwande as their number one contender for Lennox Lewis. Halme bragged before the fight that if he wins this, he would face Akinwande, and after winning him, face Lewis for the world titles. Finland never got it´s first heavyweight world champ though, as Halme fell to Kingbo´s huge hook in round 2 after taunting and dominating him through the first round. Halme broke his hand in the process.
