Freddie Little 153 lbs beat Gerhard Piaskowy 153 lbs by PTS in round 15 of 15

"World junior middleweight champion Freddie Little of Las Vegas, Nev., won a 15 round decision Friday night over Gerhard Piaskowy of Berlin. Little took command early, and Piaskowy was unable to solve the American's style. Piaskowy, 26, was unable to utilize his height and reach advantage against the clever, 33 year old Little. Little carried the fight to his southpaw rival from the 1st round on. He scored repeatedly with quick punches to the head and body as Piaskowy tried unsuccessfully to counterpunch. There were no knockdowns. Piaskowy's face was marked by punches and his left eye was swollen at the finish." -Associated Press
