"Peter Mueller, German middleweight, punched out a unanimous decision over Joe Miceli of New York in a dull 10-rounder before a packed crowd. Mueller seemed as annoyed as many of the Boston Garden fans as he gestured in the 8th round for the left-hooking Miceli to come in and fight. But Miceli failed repeatedly to land his favorite left hooks and the colorful German lathered him with a clubbing right and some nifty lefts to the body." -Associated Press
