Bout Summary
In the greatest fight in Contender history and arguably the fight of the year, Sakio Bika TKO'd Jaidon Codrington in round eight. In a tremendous round one, Bika dropped Codrington, but Codrington came back and dropped Bika later in the round. The ensuing rounds were a toe-to-toe war with both fighters trading power shots and continually rocking each other. The end finally came in round eight when Bika's vicious assault had Codrington reeling on the ropes and referee Dick Flaherty stopped the action at the 2:18 mark.
