Bout Summary

McKart dropped Ornelas with a flush left hook in round one and referee Vic Drakulich gave Ornelas another count in round two when his knee touched the canvas after taking a right hand. In an early hole on the scorecards, Ornelas upped the pressure and dropped McKart in rounds four and five. The bout was stopped by McKart's corner after round five. McKart complained of damage in both of his eardrums.
