Bout Summary
Clottey led slightly throughout, and scored a forehead cut in round two. In round five he stepped up his power blows, and after a fairly even round, had about fifteen seconds of unreturned blows. When the referee stopped it at 2:48 of the round, without a knockdown, the Versus announcers regarded it as very premature.
