Harold Cintron 138 lbs lost to Gustavo Dailey 135 lbs by MD in round 4 of 4

In a four round undercard bout to the Rubio-Cuevas main event held in Reading, Pennsylvania, Light Welterweight southpaw Harold Cintron, younger brother of Welterweight contender Kermit Cintron (who was at ringride) lost his professional debut by majority four round decision to Philadelphia's Gustavo Delli (who is listed on the Boxrec as a Super Featherweight).

The scheduled opponent for Cintron, Ahmed Voskovic, was a late scratch, and when Cintron weighed in the night before his professional debut, no opponent appeared. Delli, now 1-2 with no KOs, appeared as a last minute substitute. In round one, Cintron, a sparring partner for his brother for the past five years, battered Delli with left uppercuts and right hooks. In round two, however, with Cintron clearly in command, Delli headbutted Cintron no less than three times. At ringside the butts appeared to be intentional, but in the ring they were treated as accidental, so the fight was allowed to continue without a no-contest or disqualification. Cintron, now reeling with eye and head cuts, shut down and went on the defensive to only survive the remainder of the four round bout as Delli took full advantage of the situation to score points with combinations and win the last three rounds of the bout. In a postfight interview, Cintron said he had no problems with his opponent or the referee, and would not appeal the outcome to the boxing commission, but he would seek a rematch later in 2008.
