"Lou Brouillard, French-Canadian battler from Worcester, Mass., was over another obstacle today in his drive toward the top of the middlewight division he once ruled. The latest victim in his campaign was Young Corbett of Fresno. Brouillard gave Corbett a 10 round beating yesterday afternoon to remove one of the strong challengers for the 160 lb. crown. Brouillard won convincingly through an unceasing body attack. There was no doubt about the outcome after the bout passed the half-way mark. Brouillard buried his gloves into the body of Corbett with such effectiveness, the raising of his arm by referee Jack Kennedy was a mere formality." -Associated Press
