In the main event of a twelve round WBC Continental Americas Cruiserweight title bout between world ranked cruiserweight Rob Calloway and 'The Contender' TV show (season 3) fighter Max Alexander Jr., Calloway, on his 39th birthday, went toe-to-toe in center ring with Alexander for all 12 rounds. Each fighter tried to wear the other out with a consistent barrage of even traded power shots and head punches. While there was alot of give and take, neither fighter appeared to claim a clear advantage on points. Alexander, now 14-2-2, who lost decisions in his last two bouts, gave his all in going twelve rounds for the first time. Calloway, now 70-7-2, landed consistently but also got countered significantly. After this bout ended in a draw, both fighters signed to go to Russia to fight different Russian cruiserweight opponents. It should be noted that after the draw was announced, the crowd loudly disagreed with the verdict but those in the crowd, as well as the trainers and cornermen in the ring, were in verbal disagreement as to who should have won this fight.
