Summary
In the main event bout of the evening on the eight bout inaugural fight card at BB King Blues Club and Grill on Times Square in Manhattan, former WBO World Junior Welterweight champion Randall Bailey landed a picture perfect vicious left hook to the body that knocked out Dairo Escalas face first at 46 seconds of the first round. Bailey, of Miami, Florida, now 37-6 with 34 kayos, moved across the ring at the opening bell and finished Escalas, now 31-14 with 25 kayos, with such speed that his opponent was counted out and the fight was over before anyone in attendance realized what had happened. Escalas attempted to rise from the 'push up' position on the canvas after the body shot, but could not.
