In the prelim to the main event of a gofight.tv live internet boxing card promoted by Joe DeGuardia's Star Boxing, heavyweight Kevin Johnson won his twentieth consecutive bout with a fifth round stoppage of former WBA Heavyweight champion Bruce Seldon. Starting in the second round, Johnson's jab landed consistently, causing Seldon's left eye to swell.

In the third, Johnson put Seldon down with a right hook for a nine count. Seldon got up and fought on for another two rounds, but was getting hit by Johnson's jabs more and more and his left eye was closing. Another big right hook put Seldon down face first in the fifth. Seldon beat the count again, but the referee stopped it at 2:28 of the fifth as he was out on his feet.
