The taller Arnott was able to get work done in spots using his jab and keeping his hands moving. Lessard came forward and timed several big punches a round to control the fight. In round 1, Arnott was wobbled by a hook and dropped by a right behind the ear. In round 2, Arnott was rocked on two separate occasions by right hands. In the final seconds of the sixth and final round, Lessard dropped Arnott hard with a hook, right, followed by another right. The referee waved the fight off immediately based on the severity of the knockdown. Arnott was down for a few moments but eventually was helped up to a stool.
