Comments

Dirrell was dropped early in the fight by a left behind the ear. Dirrell rose at the count of seven and landed enough to keep the round 10-9 on the three judges' scorecards. Dirrell controlled the remainder of the fight with quick single pot shots. Mavros came forward behind a high guard, but was not busy enough to carry the rounds.
