In a Super Middleweight bout on the undercard of James Toney-Fres Oquendo fight card, 2004 Olympic Games Light Heavyweight gold medalist Andre Ward of Oakland, California, now 17-0 with 12 kayos, recorded a third round stoppage of Esteban 'Rocky' Camou of Navajoa, Mexico, now 23-5 with 19 kayos. Ward won the first two rounds, then staggered Camou onto the ropes with a series of left hand leads. Camou took a beating on the ropes till the referee stopped the bout.
