"Jimmy Heair made very short work of his opponent at El Paso Coliseum last night before a sparse crowd near 900 fans. Heair took matters into his own hands - literally - in the 1st round. He knocked his opponent, Willie Patterson, down once, then drove him into a corner of the ring and landed a combination of punches.
