Bout Summary

Bogere landed well in the opening round with jabs and caught his over-matched opponent with several left hands. A big looping right hand put Herrera flat on his back at 1:40 of Round 2. He was up at the count of four an action continued. An overhand right sent Herrera back into the ropes and down for a second time at 2:09. He again was up at the count of four and action was paused to replace his mouthpiece, which had been knocked out. Bogere pursued Herrera around the ring before getting him against the ropes and landing a flurry. At that, the referee stepped in and waved an end to the bout.
