Jackie Schweitzer gave Pete Passifiume, a replacement for Joe Leone, some rough treatment in the semi-final. Jackie is a good little featherweight and knows his business thoroughly. In the first seven rounds, he did as he willed with Passifiume. He turned him here and there and his punches found Pete early and often.
Passifiume livened up somewhat in the last three rounds and made something of a fight out of the contest. He transformed the affair into a give and take battle, and it pleased the customers. The last round produced some pretty good fighting, and everybody enjoyed it.
