In the first round, during toe to toe action Nongqayi was cut
above his left eye by an accidental clash of heads. Nongqayi's
corner kept the cut under control for the duration of the bout.

Nongqayi was down in one of the early rounds on a slip. During
a clinch late in the bout, Nongqayi pushed Bouziane away.
Bouziane took several steps backwards, lost his balance and fell.
Both were ruled correctly as, No knockdown by the referee.
