Notes
- NABA USA title had been stripped from Michael Grant.
- In the main event at Mohegan Sun, 255 pound Firtha used a longer reach to score left jabs at will, leaving Grano to swing wildly inside with left hooks which did not land.
- Firtha dropped Grano with a left at the bell of round one.
- Firtha picked up the tempo in round two, landing numerous left-right jab combinations, with a right hand lead which dropped Grano. Grano got up, but leaned on the ropes on shaky legs.
- Firtha landed ten consecutive head shots on a defenseless Grano, prompting the stoppage at 2:15 of round two.
- Firtha, who lost to Travis Walker in the 2004 Olympic trials, appeared in control of this bout the whole way and the outcome appeared anything but an upset.
