Unbeaten Thomas Baldwin and winless Felix Rangel went at each other in center ring from the opening bell. Baldwin won the first with overhand lefts and rights and power shots that landed frequently and opened up a bleeding cut on the corner of Rangel's left eye, with Baldwin landing some counter jabs. Rounds two and three were close. Baldwin appeared to be slightly more aggressive than Rangel, with Rangel countering with a number of effective body shots in those rounds to remain competitive. The cut on the corner of Rangel's left eye continued to bleed despite the attempts of his corner, but did not affect Rangel's vision. In the fourth and final round, Rangel came back to win the round with an assortment of left and right hand leads and power punches as Baldwin tired.
