Notes

This bout's ending will go down as one of the strangest in boxing history. In the 12th round, the referee, Vic Drakulich, separated the two fighters from a clinch. In doing so, Drakulich seemingly used a fair amount of strength, especially to push aside Beasley, which caused Beasley to stumble backwards and fall down to the canvas. When Beasley hesitated to get up, Drakulich called an end to the bout, awarding Julio Cesar Green the TKO win.

Shortly after the bout ended, one of Beasley's corner-men angrily chased Drakulich out of the ring. Drakulich was later quoted as saying, "If they're not able to remain standing when you break them up, they shouldn't be allowed to fight."

Julio Cesar Green ranked #4 IBF, #5 WBC, #6 WBA.
