- Highly controversial stoppage made by referee Soren Saugmann, who stopped the fight while Rossy was countering off the ropes, not appearing to be in any serious trouble.
- It appeared that the referee received a signal from ringside judge Jan Christensen before stopping the fight. Christensen had been a referee in one of the night's previous bouts.
- After the fight, Sal Musumeci, Rossy's promoter, claimed he would push for the Danish Professional Boxing Federation to change the outcome of the fight to a No-Contest.[1]
